Just a year ago he represented Israel at Eurovision 2022 and was on top of the world, but not everything is rosy for Michael Ben David. Only a month before he enters under the canopy and gets married, the beloved singer who swept millions of Israelis on the way to the biggest singing competition in Europe, posted a video on his Instagram account last night (Thursday) about the anxieties he experienced following the situation in the country and the descriptions are not easy at all.
Ben David said: “I took a moment to talk to you because there are quite a few people who watch me and write to me. I’ve been going to bed for the last few days with anxiety, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m still thinking about getting married, and the next career and singing and the next job.”

He also said: “Everything that is happening in the country, it is beyond the protests and the fact that we are so divided – it is all this murder of the family, and the two brothers who were killed, this fear that we are all the way here, to the north, I died of fear.”
“At night I go to bed and I’m anxious, I’m scared, I’m not calm, it takes over my body, and this is an amazing opportunity to say… My girlfriend told me ‘Don’t be afraid of anything, don’t worry, you’re getting married, you’re healthy, because you never know If you come home with everything that’s going on and that’s true. I got sores from the stress, but we’ll be fine and we’ll survive everything. I love you, have a good and happy weekend, and may we just be alive, Amen.”
