An Air Force A330 plane landed in Beirut (Lebanon) on Thursday to begin the evacuation of around 380 Spanish citizens residing in the country, according to sources from the Ministry of Defense, headed by Margarita Robles.
Specifically, the plane that has already landed is an A330 with a capacity of 288 passengers, and the second, which left from Zaragoza and will arrive in a couple of hours, is an A400M tactical transport, on which 116 people will be able to board .
The objective is to respect the plan for the evacuation of Spaniards in Lebanon drawn up by the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs in the face of the worsening conflict in the Middle East.
