One of the “Tri Yann”, Jean-Paul Corbineau, is dead

Jean-Paul Corbineau, one of the three “Jeans” of the legendary Celtic music group Tri Yann, died on Friday December 16 at the age of 74, Agence France-Presse (AFP) learned from a member of the folk rock band.

“Jean-Paul died of a long illness”said Jean Chocun, quoting the family of the deceased and confirming information from West France. “We are in shock with Jean-Louis” Jossic, Tri Yann’s third man, “we knew that Jean-Paul was sick but we hoped”also declared Mr. Chocun, very moved.
