Thiruvananthapuram: One person died in an accident at the Thiruvananthapuram domestic airport terminal. Four people were injured. Anil Kumar, a native of Petta, died. Noble, Ashok and Ranjith were injured. They were admitted to a private hospital. One of them is in critical condition
The accident occurred while the high mast light near the runway was being repaired inside the airport. The high mast light near the runway was being taken down for repairs when the rope broke while lowering the light using an iron rope. With this, the heavy light panel came and hit Anilkumar’s head. It is indicated that Anilkumar died on the spot.
