One person dies and a child is injured when a house catches fire in Badajoz

One person has died and a 7-year-old boy has been seriously injured this Friday in a fire in a house in the Badajoz municipality of Castilblancoas reported by 112 Extremadura.

Firefighters from the Provincial Fire Extinguishing Consortium (Cepei), a battalion from the Military Emergency Unit (UME) and the Civil Guard have been involved in the firefighting operations, as explained by 112 Extremadura.

The event occurred in a house located in the calle Perchel of the cacereo municipality.
