The anti-discrimination student movement has demanded the resignation of the ruling Awami League government. The activists announced this in an official statement on Saturday (August 3).

This coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement said, “We will not accept if the internet is closed, curfew is imposed. Now the students must come forward. You will carry out non-cooperation movement peacefully. If the government stands against the people, the people will not accept it. If you are armed, there will be resistance. We will prosecute all genocides on the soil of Bengal.
Stating that the people of Bangladesh will lead the non-cooperation, he called upon the people of the country to make the non-cooperation movement announced by the students a success.
