One week after his death: Rabbi Uri Zohar’s granddaughter got married

A week since the actor and creator Rabbi Uri Zohar passed away, tonight (Wednesday) his granddaughter Judith got married, who is also the granddaughter of Arik Einstein, his good friend and co-creator. The celebration took place a few hours after the whole family went up to Zohar’s grave at the end of the shiva.

This morning, Zohar’s family went to his grave on Mount of Beatitudes in Jerusalem. Above his fresh grave they parted from him his sons one by one. His son David said: “Help me to absorb your Torah that we will be privileged to learn from them also for my life how to live the real life.”

At the end of the shiva, the family moved from mourning to joy. Uri’s granddaughter, who is also the granddaughter of Arik Einstein, is getting married this evening in Modi’in Illit. The father of the bride, Shalom Zohar, mourned his father’s passing before seeing the daughter and granddaughter on her happy day:
