Trump-Biden, a duel that will be reissued in 2024.
Former Republican President of the United States Donald Trump leads the current Democratic president Joe Biden in voting intentions in five of six key states for the November 2024 presidential elections, according to a private survey released this Sunday by the local press.

Trump would win in Nevada (52% to 41%), Georgia (49% to 43%), Arizona (49% to 44%), Michigan (48% to 43%) and Pennsylvania (48% to 44%), and Biden would prevail in Wisconsin (47% to 45%), according to the Siena College survey published by The New York Times.

Although the margin of error is high, between 4.4 and 4.8 percentage points, these are states in which Biden won in the 2020 elections, without exception.

On the other hand, the survey revealed that 67% consider that the country is going in the wrong direction, 59% disapprove of the way in which Biden carries out his position and 71% believe that the 80-year-old president “is too old to be a effective president.”

In addition, Biden loses ground in categories that had clearly been in his favor in 2020such as young people (only 41% of the population between 18 and 29 years old decided, definitely or probably, to vote for him, compared to 40% for Trump) and the Hispanic and African-American communities.
