On the occasion of one year anniversary of the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war (February 24), the government of Ukraine has released new currencies.

A cold war was raging between Europe’s neighbors Russia-Ukraine. Following this, Russia launched a war on Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The Central Bank of Ukraine has today issued a new currency to mark the one year anniversary of the start of the war. 20 hryvnia (US$0.54 value) currency has been released against the background of the national flag.
