ONEE mobilizes to strengthen cooperation in the areas of electricity, drinking water and liquid sanitation with the Union of the Comoros
Casablanca – The National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) has mobilized to strengthen cooperation in the areas of electricity, drinking water and liquid sanitation with the Union of the Comoros.
“Mr. Abderrahim El Hafidi, Director General of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) received, on Friday, January 20, 2023 in Rabat, His Excellency Mr. Yahaya Mohamed Iliassa, Ambassador of the Union of the Comoros to the Kingdom of Morocco, accompanied by Mr. Housni Mohamed Abdou, Minister Counselor at the Embassy,” the Office said in a press release.
This visit was an opportunity to discuss the prospects for strengthening cooperation in the areas of electricity, drinking water and liquid sanitation between the two brotherly countries and during which, the two parties affirmed their desire to promote cooperation relations in these vital areas, said the same source.
At the end of this meeting, the framework cooperation agreement between ONEE and the National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company of the Union of the Comoros (SONEDE) was signed, the objective of which is to establish a framework for the implementation of cooperation actions between the two parties in the areas of drinking water and liquid sanitation.
