OnePlus’ NORD CE 2 is an intermediate device, with a premium device design, even though the back of the smartphone is made of plastic and not glass.
The truth is that it’s really hard to spot this fact, and the focus in this case goes rather to the uniform back of the device – which just looks great. One of the first things I noticed when turning on the device was the fact that it feels light (173 grams), and is very comfortable to hold in one hand and use with one hand.
The device is equipped with an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 6.43 inches, a resolution of 1,080 × 2,400, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and support for HDR10 +. So it is true that today you can find better quality screens, but these data are definitely enough for the average user. The screen looks great in almost all lighting conditions. The device has a triangular photo array, which includes a 64-megapixel camera, along with 8 and 2-megapixel cameras. Overall, most of the photos I took came out clear and have a natural look, and they were definitely enough for my daily use.
The device runs an operating system based on Android 11, and is expected to receive the update to Android 12 soon. The call quality was overall very good, although I would not have objected to an additional or simply louder speaker on the device.
