There is always demand for Chinese smartphones. But the biggest problem is that the demand is high only for cheap smartphones. That means the market for Chinese smartphones is more in those places where the price of smartphones is very low. Talking about Chinese smartphone companies, a lot of efforts are being made by them to improve the service after the sale. Also, full care should be taken about the product. Despite all these efforts, no improvement is being seen.

Both phones in the list of expensive smartphones

According to the report of ET, the market share of Chinese smartphones in the Indian smartphone market is up to 60 percent. Whereas for smartphones priced above Rs 50 thousand, this figure becomes only 6 percent. One-sided dominance of Apple and Samsung is seen in expensive smartphones. Talking about Apple and Samsung, the share of both the companies in the list of expensive smartphones is 94 percent. Whereas at the beginning of the year this share was 90 percent, which has now increased.

OnePlus shares also declined

OnePlus’ share has come down from 3.4 percent to 2.4 percent. Whereas Vivo’s share has reduced from 0.8 percent to 0.2 percent. The segment is growing by 85 percent year on year. Despite this, Chinese smartphones are not seen anywhere here. In such a situation, it is clearly visible that this whole fight has become between Apple-Samsung vs Chinese smartphones. However, the figures may be different in the future. Because Chinese smartphone brands are trying to grow in this. There has also been a lot of change in strategy from their side. All brands including OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi are in the race for premium smartphones. They are also gaining a lot in market share.
