Having already officially announced the launch date of the OnePlus 10T 5G, at an event that will take place in New York on August 3, the One Plus brand company (OnePlus) also announced the corresponding event for the Chinese market that will take place on the same day. In China, the device will be named OnePlus Ace Pro, but that should sum up the differences between the two devices.

When announcing the Chinese launch event, OnePlus saw fit to publish a few more official details about the device, most of them confirming what had already been reported. At the specification level, these will be the first One Plus devices with Qualcomm’s new and more advanced chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The display will be of the AMOLED type, 6.7 inches in size and with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The photography setup will be based on a Sony camera with a 50 megapixel resolution, alongside a wide-angle camera with an 8 megapixel sensor and a depth sensor.

The battery will have a capacity of 5,100 mAh, with support for fast charging with an impressive power of up to 150 watts. To reach this capability, users will require a small sacrifice: the OnePlus 10T 5G will arrive without a dedicated switch to switch between silent mode and ringing, a feature that was an integral part of OnePlus devices and set them apart in the landscape of Android models. The company officials explain that they had to give up the switch to make room for the battery and the charging system.

An extremely high cellular reception level is also guaranteed, thanks to 15 separate antennas. The company is keeping all the details, especially the price since it seems that most of the rest has already been revealed, for an event that will be held at the beginning of next month.
