The Health Promotion and Prevention Strategy in the National Health System (SNS), within the framework of addressing chronicity, was approved on December 18, 2013 by the Interterritorial Council of the SNS. The general objective of this Strategy is to promote the health and well-being of the population, promoting healthy environments and a healthy lifestyle.
One of the necessary pillars for its implementation is the implementation of a training plan for the professionals who will develop health promotion and primary prevention interventions. This training is based on online methodology and consists of different modules. formative.
Aim
Individual Health Education is a tool of great importance to promote health and to prevent and treat different diseases, which is commonly used in health centers.
Based on the knowledge and experiences that one already has, it is about structuring it on biopsychosocial content and pedagogical bases to improve its quality and effectiveness.
Contents
It consists of 5 chapters that are presented in an entertaining way, through prior reflection before starting each chapter, theoretical information, analysis exercises, practical examples, videos for consultation and key ideas.
Aimed at the professions of Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry/Stomatology, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Clinical Psychology, Veterinary Medicine, Intermediate Degree in Pharmacy and Parapharmacy, Intermediate Degree in Auxiliary Nursing Care, T. Higher in Dietetics and Higher in Oral Hygiene.
Duration: From April 9 to September 10, 2024

Application deadline: February 12 to March 11, 2024 (inclusive).

The number of places awarded to Aragón for the course is 84 and requests will be attended to in chronological order of application among those who meet the selection criteria. The course organization will personally send each admitted applicant, to the email address that the applicant has indicated in the registration form, (the contact email usually used) the access codes to the course’s online platform and the information necessary to do it.
The organization has indicated that applicants who cannot be admitted to this edition because the number of available places has been filled will be kept on the reserve list to cover any possible withdrawals that may occur during the same edition. Those not admitted who are interested in participating in subsequent editions must request it at the time they are called. People who take the course and are residents in the specialties training period (MIR, EIR, etc.) will receive the certification although the assignment of credits will not apply.
