CHIHUAHUA, Mexico – Parents in Chihuahua now have 24/7 online access to crucial school documents through the Educational Information System (SIE), a digital platform launched by the Ministry of Education and Sports (SEYD). This initiative aims to streamline academic data management for basic education students.

The SIE platform, implemented by the State Government, provides continuous access to student records, including qualifications, tickets, and academic history. It also plays a role in the pre-registration process for new students across initial, preschool, primary, and secondary levels.
Miguel Ángel Rodríguez López, head of the Department of Statistics and Administration of School Management Systems for Educational Services of the State of Chihuahua (SEECH), confirmed that documents generated by the system since 2016 carry full official validity and can be downloaded at no cost.
The system is designed for ease of use, allowing parents and guardians to locate schools by name, workplace key (CCT), or geographic location. This accessibility extends to both families and educational institution directors.
For school administrators, the SIE offers tools for consulting census data, reporting infrastructure needs, updating institutional information, and managing online registrations. This functionality is expected to reduce administrative burdens and boost efficiency.
The SIE is a key component of Chihuahua’s broader strategy to modernize its education sector and integrate technology, promoting transparency and speed in academic procedures.
