Virat Kohli still needs 207 runs to become the highest run-scorer by an Indian player in international cricket after Sachin Tendulkar.

The T20I series against Australia starts tomorrow. Following this, the Indian team is going to play T20 matches against South Africa. Fans are expecting Virat Kohli to surpass Rahul Dravid as the sixth highest run-scorer in the international arena and the second-highest run-scorer by an Indian player in this series, if he scores 207 runs.

Virat Kohli, who has currently played matches, has accumulated 24,002 international runs. If he scores 207 more runs, Kohli will break Dravid’s long-standing record of 24,208 runs played in 605 innings in 509 matches. However, Kohli still needs 10,356 runs to surpass Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 34,357 runs as the highest run scorer in the list. Will Kohli achieve that feat too?

Earlier, Kohli returned to form after 1021 days by hitting his 71st century in the Asia Cup series. With this, Kohli shared his place with Ricky Ponting in the list of highest scorers. In this case, if Kohli scores another 207 runs, he will surpass Dravid and achieve another record. Will Kohli do it in this series? Let’s wait and see!
