The global gross of the film has crossed 1000 crores

It has not been long since discussions began that Bollywood’s innocence in the Indian film industry was coming to an end. This was due to the continuous economic gains made by South Indian films, especially Telugu films. The Hindi editions of many big films from Tollywood have been extraordinarily successful and this discussion has been strengthened. If the Bahubali franchise was just a start, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, Rajamouli’s directorial venture RRR after Bahubali and the Kannada film KGF2 have all achieved that feat. Even the recent Hindi films have not been able to achieve the box office success of making Hindi versions of all these films. Now the Hindi version of KGF2, the latest in the series, has another advantage. KGF2 is the second highest grossing Hindi film in the Indian collection.
The Hindi version of KGF2 has grossed Rs 391.65 crore so far. The film is based on Aamir Khan’s riot. KGF2 is just 21 days behind Dangal’s Lifetime Indian Gross. The Hindi version grossed Rs 8.75 crore on Wednesday alone. Meanwhile, Bahubali 2 is still number one in the Indian gross of Bollywood films. We are waiting to see if Prashant Neil will break the record.
At the same time, the film has received a good response in Kerala as well. The film has grossed Rs 60 crore in Kerala so far. This is the best collection of Kerala box office. According to analysts, KGF2 currently ranks fourth in Kerala behind all time big hits Puli Murugan, Bahubali 2 and Lucifer. Despite the Eid releases in Malayalam, KGF2’s excellent response has taken even the theater owners by surprise. The best response to KGF2 this weekend has been in the Malabar region, where theaters are active after the month of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, the film has already grossed over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office. Sanjay Dutt will play the lead role of Adhira in Yash’s period gangster drama. Sreenidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Malvika Avinash, Achuth Kumar, Ayyappa P Sharma, Rao Ramesh and Eeswari Rao will play the other roles.
