Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return to investigate in Only Murders in the Building. The second season is scheduled to start in June.
The unlikely trio of Steve Martin (76), Martin Short (72) and Selena Gomez (29) provide laughs in the comedic crime series “Only Murders in the Building”. In the US, the three will return with the second season on June 28, according to the streaming service Hulu. A short announcement clip is already in the mood for new episodes with the bizarre troupe.
In Germany, the first season of “Only Murders in the Building”, which comprises ten episodes, has been available on the Disney+ streaming service since summer 2021. It is currently not known whether the date for the second season also applies in this country. But at least in time for the US start, the new episodes will probably also be shown in Germany.
True crime fans on the trail of a killer
The only thing Martin, Gomez and Short have in common in their roles is that they live in the same apartment building. However, they soon discover that they are all passionate about listening to true crime podcasts. The three amateur detectives are convinced that there has been a murder in the building. They record the investigations themselves and document them in their own podcast. Does the alleged murderer also live in the exclusive residential building?
