The great singing by Oskar Gluch could not be missed. On Saturday night, the Austrians sent an official document to Barak Itzhaki, in which they inform the sporting director that they are interested in realizing the clause agreed between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Gloch in October, according to which he can leave for them in exchange for 7 million euros, the exit clause which was agreed between Maxim Gloch and Mitz Goldhar on the day the contract was signed between the parties until 2025.
It should be noted that out of 7 million euros, 2.1 million goes to the Gluch family, which has 30% of the child’s player card. So Maccabi Tel Aviv, as of today, receives 4.9 million euros from this deal. This is of course better than what she would have received if she had not signed a new contract – only 450 thousand euros. The Red Bull men will fly back to Austria, when Gloch himself will fly to Austria today to sign and officially become a team player on a 4.5-year contract. His salary will be 550 thousand euros net base and can reach one million euros per season.
And what about the next step? Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to use these 4.9 million euros to try and purchase Hamudi Canaan, but it does not seem that they will be ready to submit an offer that is higher than 8 million shekels for the player. A foreign winger is also of course still on the agenda. There are 8 days left for the transfer window in Israel.
