Open days for career development at the Military Medical Academy (MMA) will take place from February 12 to 16. The medical facility will present the opportunities for training and realization in the “military doctor” and “military nurse” specialties.
The adults, divided into two groups, from 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. will have the opportunity to meet the doctors from the Medical Academy and ask their questions to the head of the hospital, Major General Prof. Dr. Vencislav Mutafchiyski, who will share his experience and lessons he learned during his military missions.

VMA is a unique structure that invests both in the development of its staff and in the treatment of its patients, implementing all innovative techniques. We are looking for diligent and consistent young people who have a broad view, who are innovative and self-disciplined. We are looking for the best among the best,” says Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, quoted in the VMA information. He is proud of the successful graduation of the first batch of military doctors in the history of the country, who have already been assigned to the military formations, as well as of the next 115 cadets who continue on the path of the first, the announcement also says.
The first batch of military doctors who completed the full 6-year training course in the specialization “Medical provision of the Armed Forces” of the Higher Naval School “N.Y. Vaptsarov” graduated in October last year.
