The following announcement was issued by the Local Community “NIKIS” of Rhodes:
On Sunday 2-25-2024 at 4:00 p.m. the cutting of the king pie of the NIKI Rhodes Community took place in the village of Lardos of Rhodes.
The event was honored with the presence of the residents of Lardos and surrounding villages, friends and members of the “NIKIS” Community of the island of Rhodes.
The event was greeted via zoom by the president of “NIKIS” Mr. Dimitrios Natsios and the member of parliament of “NIKIS” Mr. Nikolaos Vrettos, who gave wishes for the new year and spoke about the burning issues of the day.
A discussion followed with the attendees on topics such as the recent gay marriage bill, the demographic problem, sex education in schools, the new electronic ID, a video of the parliamentary work was shown as well as a briefing, and questions from the audience were asked and answered. . There was a lot of interest and so the discussion continued late into the event.
It was a warm and constructive event in the spirit and ethos of “NIKI” values.
