Berlin – The destruction of the 800-year-old wooden road on the Molkenmarkt has caused general horror. The undersigned, members of the board of the oldest historical society in Berlin, one of Berlin’s largest cultural organizations with over 700 members, are particularly irritated because “this decision by the top monument protection authority was never put up for public discussion in order to find out whether there were innovative possibilities would have given for the preservation of a monument”.
