The migrants killed in the Mediterranean are an “open wound” in our humanity, Pope Francis said on Sunday (13), after a week marked by several fatal shipwrecks. In his weekly Angelus prayer, the 86-year-old pontiff offered his prayers for the 41 people reported missing on Wednesday in the sinking of a boat leaving the port of Sfax in Tunisia.
