OpenAI is not willing to lose its position as a spearhead in the market for new content-generating tools supported by artificial intelligence. The company has announced the arrival on iPhone devices of a new version of ChatGPT, its talking machine capable of answering practically any question that the user asks, in the form of an application.

The ‘app’ is completely free and is already available for download at the official store for Apple mobile phones, the App Store. At the moment, it does not have a version for Android devices -although it will arrive- and it is only accessible in the United States. The company, however, points that the platform will begin to make the leap to other countries “in the coming weeks.”

Thanks to this movement, it is expected that the number of users of ChatGPT, one of the great technological revolutions of recent years, will grow remarkably. It should be remembered that, currently, it is estimated that the system based on artificial intelligence has more than 100 million monthly users. No online platform achieved a similar result in such a short time. And it is that, although it may sometimes seem untrue, this platform has been available since the end of 2022.

The user experience will also improve. Until now, the user who wanted to use ChatGPT on their mobile device had to resort to the desktop version. The intelligent chat that Microsoft has in its Bing search engine, and that is supported by the same technology that drives ChatGPT, is much more comfortable to use through the ‘smartphone’, precisely because it is perfectly integrated into the application of the technology site US.
