OpenAI, backed by Microsoft MSFT.O, has announced that ChatGPT can now browse the Internet to provide users with up-to-date information and that browsing is no longer limited to data prior to September 2021.
«Navigation is available today for Plus and Enterprise users, and we will soon expand it to all users. To enable it, choose Browse with Bing in the selector under GPT-4,” the company said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
OpenAI this week announced a major update to ChatGPT that will allow the viral chatbot to hold voice conversations with users and interact using images, bringing it closer to popular artificial intelligence (AI) assistants like Apple’s Siri AAPL.O.
