30 tickets maximum per person
Those who will be drawn will receive an email from May 9. This precious letter will set a time slot, no more than 48 hours, to buy the seats of their choice online, among those that will remain available. They will be able to purchase up to 30 tickets each (unless they have already purchased ticket packs in the previous phase).
For single purchase, “all sessions, including the biggest finals of the Olympics as well as the opening and closing ceremonies, will be on sale”specifies the president of the organizing committee, Tony Estanguet.
Prices that reach peaks
If all the events are on sale for those who have inherited the first purchase slots, from May 11, not everything will be accessible to all budgets. Prizes, which start at €24, have a tendency to spike for the best places and the most anticipated finals.
For the opening ceremony, which will take place on the Seine on July 26, 2024, it is planned that the crowd will be able to follow the nautical parade free of charge from the top of the quays.
