The activities of the first day of the first scientific conference on developments in emergency medicine and the treatment of accident injuries, under the slogan “Saving a Life,” were launched at Al-Jalaa Teaching Hospital in Benghazi.
The opening of the conference witnessed a welcoming speech by the conference chairman, Dr. Juma Al-Rishi, in which he touched on “the importance of this scientific event in developing the field of emergency medicine and highlighting the latest developments in the treatment and response to accident injuries.”
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Fathi Al-Baraki, stressed “the importance of cooperation between the university and the institutions specialized in the field of emergency medicine to achieve the goal of this conference, which is to improve the level of medical services provided to patients in emergency situations.”
The head of the scientific committee, Dr. Abdul Haq Al Mansouri, spoke about “the conference’s objectives and its programme, which is full of scientific workshops and lectures presented by experts and specialists in the field of emergency medicine from within the country and abroad.”
The President of the Doctors Syndicate, Dr. Muhammad Bas Ali, participated in the opening of the conference, stressing “the importance of this conference in developing doctors’ skills and raising awareness of the importance of emergency medicine and dealing with accident injuries.”
The conference is expected to witness a large participation of doctors and specialists in the field of emergency medicine from inside and outside the country, where the latest developments in the field of emergency medicine and the treatment of accident injuries will be discussed, and new scientific research in this field will be presented.
