Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, opened the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at Tawergha General Hospital, after completing its maintenance and equipping work according to the latest medical specifications, as part of the life restoration projects launched by the Government of National Unity.

The Minister of Health toured the newly established department, reviewed the size of the equipment, and listened to comprehensive explanations from officials about the level of medical services it will provide. He also conducted an inspection tour of the hospital’s departments and units, during which he was briefed on the daily workflow inside the hospital.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Health met with officials of the municipality’s health institutions to discuss citizens’ needs and provide the necessary support to those institutions.

The opening was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Hospital Affairs, Saadeddin Abdul Wakil, and a number of directors of departments at the Ministry of Health. The Minister of Health was received in the Tawergha Municipality, in the presence of the head of the local council, the director of Tawergha General Hospital, the director of the Tawergha Health Services Department, and a number of sheikhs and dignitaries of the municipality.
