“Operation Gold Rush” Gold in heaps….worth about 10.18 crore rupees…..!!!!

Intelligence has received information about smuggling of gold abroad from Mizoram state. ‘Operation Gold Rush’ was launched by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence to crack down on smuggling. The team first inspected warehouses in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, on the 19th. Then 120 foreign gold biscuits weighing 20 kg were confiscated. Its value is around 10.18 crore rupees. Similarly, the second consignment was found in Bihar.

172 foreign gold bars weighing around 28.57 kg and valued at Rs 14.50 crore were seized at the logistics company’s warehouse. Similarly, 102 foreign gold bars weighing 17 kg were confiscated in Delhi. Its value is Rs 8.69 crore. A total of 394 foreign gold bars weighing 65.46 kg and worth approximately Rs 33.40 crore have been confiscated.
