Naftali Bennett expressed the need for US support in the military operation in Rafah to prevent the restoration of Hamas and the repetition of bloody events. He addressed President Biden, calling him a “great friend of Israel” and called for joint action to finish what he started.

Naftali Bennett stated this in an interview with FoxNews.

Bennett emphasized the close relationship between Israel and the United States, highlighting the friendly ties between the two countries and the importance of support from the American leader. “President Biden is a great friend of Israel. He has shown us compassion and now is the moment of truth to support us. We have to finish the job,” Bennett said.

Citing historical parallels, Naftali Bennett compared the situation in Gaza with the events of World War II, especially highlighting the decisive action of the United States after the bombing of Pearl Harbor (Japan).

The former prime minister also drew an analogy between Hamas and the Third Reich regime, emphasizing the need to defeat terrorism. His words that defeating terrorism is possible and imperative underscored his confidence that the joint efforts of Israel and its partners will lead to success.

“We defeated terrorism in 2003 in Judea and Samaria, and we will defeat it this time too. It is quite possible to win. Hamas and I are on track to complete our mission,” the former prime minister said.

Bennett paid special attention to the complexity of Israel’s neighborly relations, highlighting among its neighbors such terrorist organizations as Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and ISIS.

Earlier, Cursor reported that Bennett reacted to the scandalous statement by the President of Brazil against Israel. The Brazilian leader accused Israel of committing “genocide” in the Gaza Strip.
