Opo unveiled the Reno 7 series in a luxurious design

Oppo revealed Three new devices in the Reno 7 series that arrive not long after it announced and launched the Reno 6 series.

Reno 7 Pro 5G

The strongest in the bunch is the Reno 7 Pro 5G. It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200-Max chipset, and comes in 8 and 12GB of working memory configuration. Both configurations will be sold with at least 256 gigabytes of memory, based on the ColorOS 12 system with Android 12.

The 6.5-inch Reno 7 Pro 5G screen has AMOLED + Full HD + resolution, with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. The selfie camera is 32 megapixels and is located in a hole in the left corner at the top, while the finger scanner is also located under the screen.

The Reno 7 Pro 5G photo array includes Sony’s IMX766 main sensor, which provides 50-megapixel resolution images. Next to it is also a camera with a wide lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. The camera protrusion is surrounded by a LED ring that serves as an indicator light for alerts.

Reno 7 Pro 5G comes with a battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh, and supports fast charging with a power of 65 watts. Expected prices are around $ 580 and $ 625 for 8/256GB and 12/256GB configurations, respectively.

Reno 7 5G

The Reno 7 5G shares many features with the Pro model, but it features a slightly different design and a few other differences. Thus the main camera is 64 megapixels and without the wide lens camera, and the screen is slightly smaller in size 6.43 inches but leaves the high refresh rate. The battery remains the same volume, but the fast charge drops to 60 watts.

Another change of the Reno7 5G is in the processing capability, based on the Snapdragon 778G chipset. It also comes in 8 and 12GB of working configurations and 256GB of storage. The 8GB configuration comes with 128GB of storage.

Prices for the various Reno7 5G configurations start at $ 350.

Reno 7 SE 5G

Opo finally announced the Reno7 SE 5G, which is also the cheapest in the bunch. It runs on the Dimensity 900 chipset in 8 and 12 GB of working configurations and 128 or 256 GB of storage. The battery remains the same size but with fast charging at a power of only 33 watts.

The main camera is an IMX581 sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels, which is supported by a pair of 2 megapixel sensors for width photography and depth sensor. It will be sold at a starting price equal to about $ 345.

There is currently no date for when the new models will find their way out of China, but it is estimated that this will happen early next year.
