10 Startups Join Demo Day to Showcase Innovations in Digital Health and Access to Technology win a position OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator Global Finals
OPPO recently ended its global Demo Day roadshow held in Israel for the OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator in Tel Aviv recently. The 10 technology start-ups from Europe and Israel participating in the Demo Day presented innovative technology projects in Digital Health and Accessible Technology, where participants compete for the best technology initiatives. Positioned in the finals of the OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator, which will be held later this year, OPPO aims to link European and Israeli mutual fund resources to accelerate the development of high-potential technologies and promote innovation in the market through the day. On Demo Day, Timothy Weadon, OPPO’s Director of Hardware Engineering for Health shared highlights from OPPO’s research and development in the field of digital health, before inviting technology experts. industry leader and social scientists to explore how “Virtuous Innovation” can be used to inspire tech startups to help solve some of the biggest problems the world is facing today. Speakers included Or Retzkin, co-founder and CEO of EyeControl; Dr. Merav Galili, founding CEO of the Menomadin Foundation; Vanessa Kacherginsky, chief executive officer of The Israeli Forum for Impact Economy; and Yuval Wagner, president and founder of Access Israel.

This may help the most people who don’t have access to today’s technology. Based on OPPO’s Brand Proposition “Inspiration Ahead”, the project brings together tech and innovation professionals who share the belief in Inspiration Matters by submitting their own projects to the Accelerator program, which helps startups. All projects submitted to OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator will be assessed under the supervision of a professional jury. It is determined by the ability to meet four key criteria: feasibility; Feasibility, Innovation & Originality, Social Value, and Long-term Potential were among the 10 projects selected for Demo Day in Tela. Veeve A total of four projects have been selected for the global finals later this year. The 4 winners (in no particular order) are:
- RightHear – The company has developed a public space navigation solution for the visually impaired that provides real-time audio commentary in applications.
- SignNow – The company has developed a sign language translation app for the deaf, interpreters and general listeners.
- 6Degrees LTD – The company has developed a user-centered adaptive controller where the AI can learn and translate each movement into commands.
- SocialMind – The company has developed AI & evidence-based interventions. For parents of children with autism
This year’s OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator’s next Demo Day will be held in India in early August. Finalists from around the world will once again present their ideas to compete for the title of the first OPPO Research Institute Innovation Accelerator at the Final Roadshows in Shenzhen, China.
