Oppo officially announced the Find X5 Pro a month ago as its latest flagship phone that works with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and features an impressive array of cutting-edge technologies.
According to the “gsmarena” technical website, Oppo provided the Find X5 Pro with an advanced built-in cooling system, but today the company introduced an Ice-Skin cooling case that helps keep the temperature lower by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
The Find X5 Pro case contains a special hydrogel layer, developed by Wuhan University. Ordinary hydrogels draw moisture from the air and then release it through evaporation.
In order to provide long-term cooling rather than just a one-time solution, the researchers developed Glacier Mat, a modified hydrogel that reabsorbs moisture from the air repeatedly at lower atmospheric temperatures, creating circular cooling in a continuous cycle.
The Ice-Skin case does not add much weight or thickness to the larger Find X5 Pro compared to a regular protective case.

As for the specifications of the Oppo Find X5 Pro phone, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, developed with a 4 nm manufacturing accuracy, and is associated with 8 or 12 GB RAM, 256 or 512 GB internal storage, and works with the coloros 12.1 user interface, based on Android operating system 12.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro phone features a 6.55-inch LTPO2 AMOLED screen, featuring a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels, supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR10 + technology, and is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus protection layer.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro phone came with a triple rear camera, two 50-megapixel cameras, one with a wide lens and the other very wide, with a Sony IMX766 sensor, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and the phone features a distinctive selfie camera with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro phone contains a 5000 mAh battery, which supports 80W Supervooc fast wired charging technology, which can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in just 12 minutes.
The Oppo Find X5 Pro phone features a multi-layer cooling system that includes an additional large vapor chamber, in addition to an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and the phone also supports connectivity to 5G networks, with a fingerprint reader built into the bottom of the screen.
The Find X5 Pro phone is available in global markets for a price of $ 1,400 (equivalent to 25 and 800 Egyptian pounds), for an option of 8 + 256 GB.
