The Chinese smartphone maker OPPO is preparing to launch its latest budget-friendly K-series phones later next week. The Oppo K10 phone is scheduled to be launched in India initially, with a list of upgrades higher than the previous versions of the same “Oppo K9” series.
Oppo had launched the “K9” and “K9 Pro” phones in China, and the first included a screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz with a “Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G” processor, while the other phone appeared with a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a “MediaTek Dimensity 1200” processor. Both phones supported fifth generation (5G) networks.
According to leaks circulated by reliable technical sites, the “Oppo K10” phone will come in two versions, as usual, with “Dimensity 8000” and “Dimensity 8100” processors, both of which are based on “TSMC’s 5nm” architecture that includes support for a screen with a refresh rate of up to 168 Hz. The phone comes with 6 and 8 GB of random access memory (RAM) connected to an internal storage starting from 128 GB.
These processors also support up to 200 megapixels cameras with 4K video recording with HDR10 + support. The phone is scheduled to work with the “Android 12” operating system from the box.
Reports indicated that the phone to be released will have a distinctive 6.7-inch “OLED” screen with a resolution of “FHD +” (2400 x 1080), with a hole that includes the front camera at the top of the screen and a fingerprint sensor.
According to reports, the phone will have a triple rear camera system, with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an “LED” sensor. The phone includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera and video calls.
The reports said that the “Oppo K10” phone will contain a large battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, and it supports fast charging technology of 80 watts, as the phone will be fully charged in about half an hour.
According to the leaks, the price of the “Oppo K10” phone in India will be set at less than 20,000 Indian rupees (about $ 261). The company has set, on its website, the date of the launch of the new phone on March 23, and it will be put up for sale to the public on the 29th of the same month.
