The leaks revealed the first live image of the OPPO Reno 8 phone. Meanwhile, the device has been approved by the 3C authority in China, which indicates the approaching launch date, which may take place officially next May.

The popular Chinese digital chat station leaked on Weibo shared a live image that was said to be a phone. The leaker did not explicitly mention the name of the device, however, the information that has surfaced through the leak is a clear hint that it is the regular model of the upcoming OPPO Reno 8 series.
According to the image, the phone will have a punch-hole design on the screen for the selfie camera. The image also shows that it will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 processor with 4nm manufacturing accuracy and includes 4 Cortex A710 CPU cores clocked at 2.36GHz, 4 Cortex A510 cores clocked at 1,80GHz and Adreno 662 GPU.
The processor is expected to debut in May, and OPPO Reno 8 could be the first device with it.
OPPO Reno 8 gets 3C certification
Previous reports claimed that the phone’s model number is PGAM10. The device is listed in the 3C database with an 11V/7.3A charger, which indicates that it will support 80W fast charging.
According to previous leaks, the phone will feature a 6.5-inch OLED display that offers FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The phone will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery.
The rear camera module will consist of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth/macro camera. The device is running Android 12 operating system with ColorOS user interface.
