Oppo Reno 9 has received Bluetooth SIG certification

by time news

According to reports, Oppo will soon start a “marathon” of releases. The company will introduce the Oppo Reno 9 series, the Oppo Find N2 and the N2 Flip, and there is a new Oppo A98 5G phone. Premium hardware is expected in December. The Oppo Reno 9 series is set to bring the vanilla, Reno 9 Pro, and Pro+ variant. At the moment, the company has not confirmed the launch details, but leaks are spreading. The digital chat station Tipster has already confirmed the arrival of the new squad. Now, Vanilla has passed Reno 9 Bluetooth SIG certificate.

Alleged details of Oppo Reno 9

Oppo Reno 9 passed the Bluetooth SIG database with model number PHM110. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth SIG is not the most revealing of the certification bodies. It confirms the model number, and obviously fetches information about Bluetooth technology. However, Oppo Reno 9 will bring Bluetooth 5.2 support.

Thanks to the leaks, we can already paint a good picture of the Oppo Reno 9. The new smartphone will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + SoC. It will match devices like Motorola Edge 30 5G and Nothing Phone (1) 5G which are some of the few devices with SoC. The phone will offer up to 12GB of RAM and we expect up to 256GB of internal storage. According to the leaks, the company will keep the battery capacity at 4,500 mAh while the charging will remain 67 watts. We may see improvements in this regard, but only in the Pro variants.

Oppo Reno 9 will also bring a 6.7-inch Full HD + OLED display with a punch-hole and 120Hz refresh rate. This is an improvement over the Oppo Reno 8. The mid-2022 model has a 6.55-inch OLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will probably retain the in-display fingerprint scanner. Some rumors point to the use of a curved panel, which will be a first in the Vanilla series. Moving on from the back, the company will bring a triple-camera array with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B shooter. Other sensors are still a mystery, but we’re betting on the ultra-fast snapper and macro/depth unit. For selfies, Oppo will keep the traditional 32MP camera.
