As a reminder, the prosecution had requested 10 years of criminal imprisonment for rape or 5 years in prison for the offense of “youth corruption”. Since the start of this long procedure in February 2021, Ousmane Sonko has always denounced a “plot” to exclude him from the presidential election scheduled for February 2024.
