Opponents of the vaccination: German soldier arrested after threatening video

After the dissemination of a threatening video against the federal government because of its CoV policy, the police arrested a Bundeswehr soldier. The man was arrested yesterday evening in downtown Munich because he is “suspected of having publicly incited crimes,” said the Upper Bavaria police.

The German Defense Ministry had previously announced that the consequences would be examined. The video in question “contains threats against the rule of law that are unacceptable,” the ministry said.

The recording, which was distributed in online media, shows a man in uniform who introduces himself as a sergeant major. In particular, he opposes the agreed CoV vaccination obligation for nursing staff and the obligation to tolerate this vaccination that already applies to soldiers.

The man speaks of a clear “warning” and gives the government an ultimatum “by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow” to change its policy. Calls for a “fight against political decisions” by another soldier were also circulated on the Internet.

Increasing violence at CoV demos

At the same time, there are increasing reports of violence during demonstrations against CoV measures in Germany. Demonstrators attacked the police in several cities, and in Munich they cracked down on a prohibited rally. The Bavarian Minister of the Interior warned against right-wing extremists infiltrating the protests.
