Oppo’s competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip has been revealed ahead of launch

by time news

Very few competitors arose for Samsung in the field of folding devices, and most of them provided a competing solution to the Galaxy Z Fold. Now that Oppo has already launched the Find N, which we even managed to test, the company is working on a new clamshell configuration as a direct competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip.

a picture simulation that came online show the Oppo Find N2 Flip which should arrive soon and offers a folding phone configuration but with a much larger external screen than usual and an upgraded camera array. Its size will also be relatively compact, probably slightly smaller than Samsung’s.

According to the details, it will include a 6.8-inch AMOLED main screen with FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The additional screen on the outside is a 3.26-inch OLED type, on which you can display various notifications, run applications, view the time and weather, and more without having to open the device.

Also on the outside are a pair of cameras, one with a 50 megapixel sensor based on Sony’s IMX890 and the other equipped with a wide-angle lens with an 8 megapixel sensor. The processor should be MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000, along with working memory of up to 12 gigabytes and internal storage of up to 512 gigabytes. There’s also a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging and the ColorOS 13 operating system based on Android 13.

It is not yet clear what the price of the Find N2 Flip will be, but it should be revealed at the same time as the second generation of the foldable Find N, probably at an event to be held in the middle of the month.
