Doha: National Women’s Federation General Secretary Annie Raja said that if the opposition parties stand together, they can oust the BJP from power in the next general elections. Aniraja said in Doha that he cannot face the BJP by keeping the Congress aside. Only if the regional parties and the powerful Congress at the national level are united, they can face the BJP in next year’s general elections. But it is not possible to face the elections by forming a front at the national level. The regional parties concentrated in different states and regions should be united and countered by the Sangh Parivar. Local parties have their own interests. Apart from that, Ani Raja also said that the parties should unite in the national interest.
They pointed out that it is a wrong practice not to criticize if their party comes to power and anti-government criticism is not meant to portray the rulers in a bad light. He said that as a left-wing activist, he criticizes the government on the basis of his desire to work properly and often brings this matter to the attention of the Chief Minister. It was also pointed out that interventions and criticisms are never done from the enemy side, but from the side. Responding to a question related to EP Jayarajan’s controversial statement, Annie Raja said that communists should also change in times of gender justice and women’s advancement. Opposition can bring BJP down if it stands together: Annie Raja
