Berlin – The corona incidence in Berlin is apparently increasing inexorably. Higher numbers are reported every day, but at a still low level. On Wednesday the incidence was 22.6. In the age group of 20 to 24 year olds, however, the value was already 86.1. At the same time, a strategy is being sought against the particularly contagious Delta variant. Above all, the opposition is demanding greater efforts from the state government. It is irresponsible to just hope that as the vaccination rate increases, only relatively few people will become seriously ill.
Dirk Stettner goes to court most sharply with the Senate. The education policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group demands more commitment from the governing mayor Michael Müller (SPD) in particular. This must appear before the public and take a clear position, so Stettner.
