The People Power Party’s Media Special Committee issued a statement criticizing, “Chairman Choi is the perpetrator of the disaster in which a KCC employee collapsed from exhaustion.” The People Power Party’s Defense Committee also issued a statement saying, “The hearing has degenerated into a physical fitness test.” In response, opposition Defense Committee members, including the Democratic Party and the Fatherland Innovation Party, accused the candidate of using a corporate card for personal purposes and called for his resignation.
