BarcelonaThe trend, as a talk show host would say, was here to stay. The new artists emerging from the different evolutions of urban music were asking for a way. The Tyets and 31 Fam have already performed this year at Canet Rock, and will return there on July 6, 2024 as part of a bill that also includes Julieta, Figa Flawas and Ginestà. In other words, the generational and stylistic relief on stage is consolidated, with the indisputable dominance of the more danceable pop, trap and reggaeton, which corner the previous hegemony, that of festive music associated with the mestizo sound and that of pop that represented bands like Els Amics de les Arts and Manel. Time is doing work.

However, there are also names that have contributed to building the history of the second stage of the festival since 2014, such as Els Catarres and Miki Núñez, or La Fúmiga, heirs of the Valencian scene promoted by Obrint Pas and La Gossa Sorda. And as a link between them all and constituted as a separate world, Oques Grasses, who next year are preparing a return that wants to live up to the end of the album’s triumphant tour Full of life at Palau Sant Jordi.

The program of Canet Rock 2024 is completed by the incombustible Miquel del Roig, always faithful to the festival, the Majorcans O·ERRA and La Banda CanetRock, formed by thirty artists who have been through the festival and who will perform emblematic songs with new collaborations. All together, with the aim of gathering 25,000 people on July 6. Tickets cost 44 euros (22 euros for children under 12).
