NHSO – Clinic and PTT Station have collaborated to launch a new pilot project called the “Ob Om Clinic,” a nursing and midwifery clinic that aims to strengthen the health and wellness industry while increasing access to public healthcare services.

The project includes the provision of remote doctor visits through telemedicine, which enhances the delivery of health services and improves access to basic healthcare services in the country. The pilot program will be implemented at the PTT Station, Nong Khaem branch.

Mr. Disthat Panyarachun, the Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), stated that the company strives to contribute to the country’s public health infrastructure. Leveraging the extensive network of PTT Station branches nationwide, OR aims to elevate the standard of health services in line with its strategy of expanding into the health and wellness industry.

OR, NHSO – Clinic, and Clicknic have partnered to provide services at the “Ob Om Clinic.” The clinic, located at PTT Station, Nong Khaem Branch in Bangkok, primarily caters to gold card patients, a large group in the country. These patients can receive primary healthcare services for less severe illnesses, utilizing a combination of offline and online platforms.

The collaboration between NHSO, which handles reimbursement rights and connects treatment disbursement data, and Clicknic, a leading telemedicine service provider, ensures that patients at the clinic receive quality medical advice and service.

The “Ob Om Clinic” is open from Monday to Saturday, operating from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Professional nurses provide services to both general patients and gold card patients, offering basic nursing and health promotion services such as wound dressing, prenatal care, pregnancy testing, contraception, as well as screening and assessing physical and mental health risks.

In cases where the conditions exceed the capabilities of the nursing and midwifery clinic, patients can connect to tele-doctor services through the Clicknic application. The tele-doctor service covers the treatment of 42 diseases and common symptoms, including fever, muscle inflammation, red eyes from viruses, dizziness, diarrhea, hives, and strep throat.

The “Ob Om Clinic” aims to provide primary public healthcare services for the treatment of less severe illnesses and emphasizes the importance of nursing and health promotion and prevention services. For cases beyond the clinic’s capabilities, telemedicine services at hospitals will be utilised through the Clicknic platform.

This initiative aims to improve the overall quality of health services and enhance access to the public health system for the general community. It aligns with OR’s business approach and vision of empowering all towards inclusive growth, making healthcare more accessible and improving the quality of life for individuals and communities.

By joining forces with NHSO – Clinic and Clicknic, PTT Station aims to drive forward the development of the health and wellness industry while providing increased opportunities for individuals to access public healthcare services. The “Ob Om Clinic” will pave the way for future projects that focus on the expansion of health services throughout the country.]
