Oral Tzbari: “My mother told me as a child that no one would want to marry me”

by time news

The comedian and the actor Oral Sabri who appeared in the reality show “Dancing with the Stars” and lost 17 kg there, said that he gained back 10 kg. Tonight (Thursday) in “Intimi” with Rafi Reshef On Keshet Channel 12, Zabri told how his parents reacted to him being fat as a child and how he thinks he will behave differently to his child, compared to his parents, regarding weight.

Zabari said that his mother, who tried to make him lose weight, told him that if he was fat no one would want to marry him and threw additional comments at him about his weight. Sabari added that commenting doesn’t always help, and said how he thinks he would have behaved differently with his son, if by chance he had to deal with an overweight problem.

“How will you behave differently to your child? It is very difficult to watch your child gain weight and be able to keep quiet,” Reshef told him. “True, and I don’t know how I will act either. ‘Prophecy was given to fools,’ but I do want to believe that I will embrace him, give him self-confidence and try to come in a pleasant manner. I will tell him: ‘Let’s go for a walk.’ To him: ‘You need to take a walk.'” Rashef answered him: “He won’t walk, like Oral” and the actor replied: “Maybe. Why? I have a walker at home. I don’t walk with my mother, I walk alone.”
