BOLZANO. Given the decline in infections and hospitalizations, the Province of Bolzano hopes to be able to proceed with the opening of bars and restaurants and to return to the yellow zone (“Our numbers – said President Kompatscher – are from the yellow zone”).

In the meantime, it remains in the orange zone, with the governor’s ordinance number 18 which came into force on April 7 and valid until April 30: it provides for freedom of movement on the provincial territory, face-to-face lessons against adherence to nasal screening tests, at 18 for the bars.

The movements

It is good to clarify that in the face of the relaxation of some measures, other restrictions remain in force.

From 7 April, the travel ban is no longer applied at the municipal level, but only at the provincial level: that is, travel into and out of South Tyrol is prohibited (except for proven reasons of health, work, study and necessity) , while it is allowed to move freely, without the need for self-certifications, within the provincial territory.

The ban on moving from home between 5 and 22 hours has been confirmed, except for the known reasons, motor activity is allowed except in the 22-5 range.

They remain – as per national ordinance – travel between Regions is prohibited, even if in the orange zone.

Second box

It is forbidden to enter South Tyrol for residents outside the Province who want to reach second homes.
