Orbit reports receiving an order in the amount of approximately 2.6 million dollars

The order was received from a leading American aircraft manufacturer for the supply of digital audio management systems that will be installed in its fighter aircraft

Orbit Technologies, a provider of solutions for communication and audio management in airborne systems, announced today (Sunday) the receipt of an order in the amount of approximately 2.6 million dollars. The order was received from an American aircraft manufacturer and a supplier to the United States Department of Defense for the supply of digital audio management systems that Orbit developed for a fighter aircraft manufactured by Orbit. The systems will be used as spare parts for Orbit’s serial systems that will be installed in its planes. This order joins previous orders from this client in the amount of approximately 19.1 million dollars.

Delivery of the systems is expected during 2023 – 2024. Orbit’s digital audio management system is based on a Dual IP Ring topology that provides: 3D, Adaptive Noise Reduction audio, the flexibility of the system that is suitable for aircraft of any size, both civilian and military, built-in redundancy and reduced weight.

The company’s customers include large aircraft manufacturers, air forces and over 25 navies worldwide, large integrators and companies such as: Airbus, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Collins; Communication service providers such as: Inmarsat, Leonardo, Telespazio, Eutelsat, SES Gilat, L3Harris, organizations engaged in observation from space such as: Imagesat and European space agencies and other defense and government organizations.
