Advisor to the Ministry of Railways Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan has instructed the ministry to form three separate task forces to monitor train movement, prevent black market of tickets and remove illegal occupation of railway land.

On Monday (19 August) he gave this order in an introductory meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Railways at the Rail Bhawan in the capital. The advisor said that the current government is determined to reduce the cost of railways. Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan interacted with the media persons after the introductory meeting and answered various questions.

The advisor directed the concerned to ensure that the passengers get tickets easily from the station counter. He laid emphasis on getting out of the culture of praising officials and working with transparency. At the same time, Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan urged everyone to be careful about immoral activities.

The railway advisor said that the people supported the student movement because they wanted change. The students poured their blood and established the current government because they wanted change. Try to understand this change.

He said that the mandate of the current government is much stronger than any previous government. Enraged by the corruption, nepotism and irregularities of the past, the students took to the field. This government has established to fulfill people’s expectations with life. The people supported the student movement because they wanted change. People have high expectations from this government. If this government fails, the consequences will be very bad.

Senior Secretary of Railway Ministry MA Akmal Hossain Azad, Director General of Bangladesh Railway Sardar Shahadat Ali along with senior officials of Railway Ministry, Bangladesh Railway and Railway Inspection Directorate were present in the meeting.
