Riyadh: The governor of Najran has ordered to investigate the incidents in which three children and a young man drowned in the water bodies. Four people lost their lives in two separate incidents on Tuesday in Thar and Habona governorates, south of Najran.

Governor Amir Jalavi bin Abdul Aziz bin Musaed ordered a police investigation into the tragic events. He inquired into the details of the circumstances leading to the drowning.

Three turtles drowned while swimming in a swamp in Alrahba village of Thar Governorate. The Civil Defense tweeted that all three have died and their bodies have been recovered. The young man drowned in Wadi Arkan flood in Habona Governorate. Ameer Jalavi expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.

The Governor also asked the local residents to strictly follow the instructions and warnings of the Civil Defense regarding the adverse weather conditions and heavy rains experienced in various parts of Najran region.
