A man who supports the war against Ukraine raised money to send drones to Russia for its war, but instead of drones he got toys. The order was hacked by Ukrainian hackers after his order was placed and they changed the order content

A man who supports the war against Ukraine raised $25,000 to buy Chinese drones for Putin, but his order was hacked and he will receive a huge shipment of toys. In Ukraine, it was reported that war supporter Mikhail Luchin placed an order with the global online retailer Ali Express, in order to support Russian forces who are fighting in Ukraine. But Ukrainian hackers with a group of cyber warriors hacked the order and changed it so that the man would get hundreds of games instead of drones.

“Instead of drones, Mikhail will now send the invaders truckloads of toys and other things useful to every Russian that we ordered and paid for with his Express Owner card,” the hackers posted. The total amount of the order was about $25,000.

Luchin initially planned to return the toys to Ali Express and get his money, but was told they wouldn’t let him. Instead, he turned to another plan. “I’ll open a toy store here in Russia, make 300% profit and buy three times as many drones,” he declared, telling his followers “it would be good to have a missile to launch at the hackers.”

“He collected money and spent it on the purchase of drones for the Russian military. So it was important to exchange it for something else, we decided to order toys for him,” they wrote. The hackers revealed that originally they wanted to use the money for the benefit of the Ukrainian army and send the drones to the Ukrainian army, but discovered that there was no way to change the shipping address, meaning that everything they ordered would be sent to his home of Luchin.
